Hard Boiled Eggs Soaked in Virgin Boy’s Urine Are a Cultural Delicacy in China
Normal eggs boiled twice in young boy's urine are being sold by shops and local vendors in Dongyang City, located in the center of Zheijang Province, China.
The virgin boy eggs have been produced for centuries and loved by many in the city.
Residents praise the local delicacy for a number of positive health benefits including its ability to prevent colds, boost vitality, and increase circulation.
"These eggs cooked in urine are fragrant," said Ge Yaohua, 51, who owns one of the more popular "virgin boy eggs" stalls. "Our family has them for every meal. In Dongyang, every family likes eating them."
Vendors collect virgin boys' urine from elementary schools and homes around the city and use it as a main ingredient for their unusual street food.
They're actually put through the process twice, first with shells and then again with their shells cracked open.
The whole "cooking" process takes an entire day and one egg shells for 23 cents.
"It's so delicious that I can eat 10 eggs a day," a woman surnamed Liu told Shanghai Daily. "I am addicted."
"The smell kills me," a Mr. Li told the Qianjiang Evening Post. "I feel like throwing up at the thought of it. It stinks."

Watch humbling moment man wrongly convicted of MURDER is freed after 39 years in jail
Ricky
Jackson - who at one stage faced the death penalty - calmly stands before
looking skywards and hugging his legal team
This is the humbling moment a man who spent 39 years in jail after being wrongly convicted of murder is set free.
Ricky Jackson, 57, appears to mouth 'thank you' after being cleared, looks to the heavens, and then gratefully embraces his legal team before being led from the court room.
He was convicted along with two others for the 1975 murder of Harold Franks, a Cleveland-area money order salesman, after 12-year-old Eddie Vernon testified he saw the attack, according to court documents.
However, when Vernon - now 53 - recanted his evidence and told authorities he had never actually witnessed the crime.
With no other evidence linking Jackson to the killing, in March lawyers for the Ohio Innocence Project filed a motion for a new trial after.
Vernon had told a pastor he was on a school bus at the time of the murder, which other witnesses confirmed.
Jackson is the longest-held U.S. prisoner to be exonerated, an lawyer for the Ohio Innocence Project said.
The two other men convicted alongside him, brothers Ronnie and Wiley Bridgeman, have also filed for a new trial.
Ronnie Bridgeman was released in 2003, but his brother remains in prison.
Jackson was originally sentenced to death but that sentence was vacated due to a paperwork error.

The Ivory Coast qualified for the 2015 African Cup of Nations finals on
Wednesday night in a 0-0 draw with Cameroon, but after the game the players had
to wait a little time before celebrating.
After the final whistle, fans in Abidjan flooded the field to get close to their star players.
Gerhinho was manhandled by one pitch invader, and the Roma winger almost had his shorts ripped off his body.
Riot police stepped in, with force, to try and quell the crowd, while a crossbar was broken in the mayhem.
